Ok - after missing one day of the 75mg of Effexor, I had a huge headache and felt sick. My pdoc wants to me stay on the 75mg of Effexor and up my Wellbutrin to 300mg.
Since the Wellbutrin makes me irritable, I really don't want to up it.
I called my regular doc and explained the situation and she perscribed some 37.5 Effexor. Now I plan on very slowly weaning myself off the Effexor, staying on the 150mg of Wellbutrin and taking Buspar for the anxiety.
Effexor is just too difficulat to get off, I'd rather do it now and address my anxiety with an easier med.
Anyone have any other suggestions? Any other meds good for anxiety (without the sexual side effects)?

Thats what I say. Sometimes I am on a med that is doing so little, and I know the withdrawl is going to be horrable, so I just want to get off it right away.

That's what I did. Took effexor for a week at 37.5mg. Side effects were awful. Stopped the med. Remember the pharmacist saying it would take a week to get out of my system. Fondly, Phillipa
