Parnate report

Posted by Declan on June 28, 2005, at 14:45:52

We are lucky in this part of Australia in our choice of doctors. And being 52 is better for this than 25.
So, yesterday I told my doc that the moclobemide was effective but anxiogenic. And that I had tried Parnate with good results 25 years ago. So he said, Take that then.
I also take, generally and from here on I think
1mg deprenyl/d
400mg SAMe
10mg Parnate
Yesterday (Day 1) was a little different in that it was 800mg SAMe, this is before the doc and the Parnate, due to feeling more than usually bad.
At 10 am, anyway I took my Parnate tablet. Within half an hour I could notice something. I went to visit friends. Easier to arrive and easier to leave. (A particular problem of mine). Still working noticeably, but not strongly *now* (5.30am next day), by which time I'm up and have had the 2nd tablet.
Insomnia the first night. I'm hoping that by taking the 3 drugs mentioned by 5am that it will be better tonight.
I'm sure you will all know what a blessing it is to get a bit of real relief for a bit.
