I to am seeing my doc in a day and was wondering if anyone could help.Obviously since i tout it constantly im on parnate, and i dont see any other med i want as a primary med,not to mention parnate does work to a degree.
I need to ask for a augmentor, the kicker is i need something like a mild stimulant cause parnate isnt fighting the depression enough,at the same time however i need something to allow me to be calmer,on parnate i cant seem to sit down and enjoy tv,its go go go,how do i ask for a med that performs to actions of ehnacing parnate and yet overall calming me,please suggestions are welcomed,im very intersted in the med chairman takes i cant spell it "burphorine" but from my understanding its not prescribed very easly at all.

Nah i have done the nardil trial, and with no luck, perhaps i would have had succes with the old formula who knows.
No like i said no other med interests me as a primary med,i still keep seeing parnate as the most popular and succesfull,to augment it is my hope.Im intersted in either augmenting it with a mil stimulant or something to help it stop making me agigtated as afar as getting up and doing things.
Ive tried just about every sedative and they make it worse,im wondering if either a stimulant would help both problems or id really like to try the med chairman takes but can imagine my docs face if i asked her for an opoid on top of my Maoi.

I took Adderall XE with Parnate, but because it made me so tired in the afternoon. Now I take Dexedrine which I don't really like. How about Desipramine ... a small dose. It's used for ADD and it might add some extra AD effect to the Parnate.

Well i went there with 3 hopefull options, the first one was what chairman takes and that was BOOM shot down fast,by the way it was the opoid subtex.
I had two left,so rather than try xyrem (ghb) something i know she hadent heard of i went for Dexedrine which is what ur on,so far it seems ok,havent got into the thick of things yet with it and parnate but im hopeful, may i ask why u dont like it?

I don't like the Dexedrine because I crash on it. I was taking Adderall XR which was a dream but then they pulled it Canada. And I have the tablets so I have to take one every 2-3 hours. It's not convenient. After my dose I crash and feel very depressed. A few times I have even cut. Maybe I will try the Spansules. Ritalin is a no-no ... that I really crash on and it makes me so irritable.
How much Dexedrine with you be taking?

Wow shows r different people are, adderall was way too much for me,and ritalin had me an obsessive maniac dwelling on every little task for hours, and the as u said CHRASING HARD.
Dexadrine so far seems extremly subtle, with parnate i hardly notic it,im taking 2-5 mg tabs with 10-20-30 mg parnate and all its doing is preventing fatigue its hardly noticable think it may be a go for me on this one.

I'm glad it's working for you. I am only taking the Dexedrine for fatigue as well, I am not ADD. I don't know why Parnate causes fatigued when it's stimulating! I would like to find some research on this phenomena. There has to a reason.
Have you ever tried Provigil.

Provigil,is that modfanil? That 1000 doller med,if so yes,and it sucked big time the biggest waste of money i ever spent,i should have had the company just kick me in the RSE and then i give them 200 dollers.I hate the fatigue too,its like in ur lower back and up u feel so weak.So far actualy the dexadrine is helping, other than that of all the expensive stimulants the best one that gave parnate a nice kick was always,a simple box of vivarin from 7 - 11,it went very well with parnate. If anyone cant get to a doc,and have this problem, try taking a single vivarin tab alone upon feeling the fatigue,no it will not react like normaly caffiene will, instead it will be much much milder and synergize with parnate,i wouldent just take vivarin alone, its the parnate in the system that makes the pill work different, that too pooped out on me but when it worked man i loved it i was so happy and full of energy.
Last u mentioned for insomnia amitripline, thats exactly what i use,and then bite from a .25 klonopin tab until i am sleepy,i usualy barly get to a half a .25 tab before im knocked out.
Sorry for the ramble.> I'm glad it's working for you. I am only
