I took myself off Zoloft (Bad mistake) i had a rebound effect of depression. it lasted for about 3 days and I could not stop crying. When I was on Zoloft I felt so BLAH! I had lost all interest in sex and pretty much everything. I did not feel sad, but I didn't feel excited about anything either. My doc told me next time to let him ween me off, but I am glad it's all out of my system.

I felt great immediately after Zoloft. The withdrawal effects did not start until 10 weeks after the last dose. Perhaps I'm an unusual case, but certainly not the only one. I forgot to mention that I also would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had blackouts or "micro-blackouts" while on the drug. Thank you for your post. Hope your sex life is back up to par.

yes, the sex life is back up:) i just felt unemotional. I never experienced blackouts and I was on the drug for over 3 months.
I have heard Cymbalta is good for Depression. I take Dexedrine for ADD and thats all I need right now, except for some insommia.

I take Zoloft, and so far I really like it. I do think it may be the cause of my restless leg syndrom. I have to take Klonopin for that each night, and have for around six years. I did go off Zoloft for two years, and the RLS did continue, so who knows? I am currently starting Concerta, and hoping to ween myself off Zoloft in the future. -L

After 10 weeks, I think you were experiencing a rebound in your illness versus withdrawal, just my opinion.

Hey Stresser,

How is the Concerta? Are you still taking 18mg?

Theo,
I answered your question under the concerta post, sorry! Can you scroll up and try to find it? I'm just to lazy today to re-type it again! If you don't find it post back and let me know, and I will fill you in. I'm off to the gym for now....not much hope, because I have a cold. -L
