Mirapex -Any experiences?

Posted by The_Resistance on April 5, 2005, at 15:09:52

I'm interested in trying Mirapex because I believe my problems are partly dopamine related.

I heard confusing reports on this drug, some people seem to find it helps their motivation, but other people get sleepy.

Does it help social anxiety?

I take low dose Mirapex for Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. I'm wondering why you believe your problems are partly dopamine related.

I know little about dopamine.

Thanks,

I am also interested in this same drug. I am looking for something that is activating. I know it is used to treat depression and Parkinsons.

Its just a guess really, when I say dopamine my problems are dopamine related I also mean Noradrenalin

SSRIs and L-tryptophan make me emotionaly flat and appathetic, even more so than usual!

GHB worked well for me and that elvates dopamine, also low dose dexedrine was helpful.
Adrafanil works on Noradrenalin and dopamine, it worked well for me.
Curiously Effexor XL works at 225mg when the Noradrenalin effect becomes significant, it did nothing at lower doses.
