magnets boosts brain activity?

Posted by ms. misery on April 4, 2005, at 19:16:50

I have researched on magnets and the brain, on levelizing mood. It is not as effective as electric shock treatment, but some reports are benefits.

Usually i have read, some dumb reports, but other where a bit intresting. Usally a high strength mag is placed on forhead, or where the frountal lobe is. I have heard it has been beneficial with certain bi-polar individuels. I dont know if it directly increases mood, or increased nuerotransmitters.

I have sometimes wanted to try this, but usally it will have to a be a high powered type.

I hope maybe it does work.

Good health

Exactly where would you get this type of magnet and how long would you place it there?

I might try it on my husband as he sleeps.. LOL

No seriously, that is interesting. Let us know if you try it.

I used magnets when I had a herniated disc, and I believe it really did help. Fondly, Phillipa
