What does Wellbutrin work on?
I have been using it to lose weight.
My partner has lost so much size and weight while using this I was impressed and wanted to have the same results..
but....
you knew that there was a but...
I have not lost much weight.
I am more speedy and have been losing hair but not much weight.
what does Wellbutrin do?
I am rather enamored with my dopamine....
what to do?

> what to do?Bupropion inhibits the dopamine transporter, but it also does more than that. It probably inhibits norepinephrine uptake, and binds to the histamine H1 receptor.....I say probably, because human studies and rat studies show rather different results. It could be that individual people vary substantially on the histaminic and noradrenergic effects. That would translate into different effects on appetite and resting metabolic rate.
The most potent thing you can probably do, to enhance the weight-loss potential, is to decrease your fat/lean ratio.....i.e. increase muscle consumption of energy. Increase your exercise level, in other words.
