HI, I been on Effexor XR for several months.Ever since i been on it it has been passing out in my bm's.I can see the little balls from teh inside of the capsules in it all the time,and a lot of it,Does anyone else get this? I have been tested
for bowel diseases and everything has been negative.

The "pellets", those little white things inside a capsule of Effexor do not break down all at once in order to be "time released". I frequently have observed the same phenomenon and believe that they have passed through the digestive system without breaking down. I have been on Effexor XR 225 mg. for 5 years now and have not noticed any difference in how I feel when I observe undigested pellets or not. Everyone digests their food/medication at different rates and I believe that this is a variable that is accounted for in the manufacturing process.

The same is happening to me, but I think what I see is calcium-magnesium. But it makes me wonder if I am indeed absorbing my meds. I do have irritable bowel. Fondly, Phillipa

I kinda figured I was absoribing them,as if not I would be depressed.It just is odd that is all, and I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.Thank you for your response! :)

I had the same thing while I was on Effexor XR for the 8+ yrs I was on it. I asked a friend of mine who is a pharmacist and she looked it up in her med book and that is totally normal and OK. It also said that some of the drug is not absorbed until it is in the intestines. So you are not alone. :)
