Cogentin didn't do much for my mental state, except when I withdrew from it. It made my underlying illness worse in withdrawal. That only lasted a day or two, though. Good luck.

my daughter has scitzophrenia ...are those the symptoms that increase in withdrawal of cogentin? My daughter is on 4mg and doc wants to STOP it abruptly and I'm scared of what is going to happen. The doctor is unapproachable and not easy to change docs. she is at a mental health center. I'm a nervous wreck! Thanks for any help you can offer so I can be prepared better. She has a boss but I have no idea what will happen if I contact him. This is scary. Thanks.
