NARIs and dopamine levels

Posted by sabre on January 22, 2005, at 1:29:11

Hello
When you take a noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor like Reboxetine, and your noradrenaline levels rise what happens to your dopamine levels?

Does the increase in NA slow or prevent dopamine
converting to noradrenaline? Does dopamine bank up? Is there a feedback loop?

And....if the noradrenaline receptors are eventually downregulated (I presume they are ??) does the same happen to the dopamine levels?
Thanks
sabre
