I was doing a little research and stumbled across an interesting web site. It is offered as a resource for clinicians (and carries the expected disclaimers), but I found the questions and answers very useful in my research.

It is "supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Lilly," but I didn't feel like it was preferring or marketing Lilly drugs. The "Archived Questions" section has some great questions and the answers provide lots of references. Among the Q&As I found useful: WHAT are some of the determinants that should go into the decision to change to a different medication versus attempting to augment current antidepressant therapy? and WHEN switching from one selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor to another, does one need to taper off the old agent and slowly reintroduce the new one, or can it be done cold turkey?
