Thanks

I got up to 60mg of cymbalta. I really didn't have the common side effects. It really didn't do anything to me except it seemed to wake me up earlier which I didn't like. I weaned off of it after about 3-4 months. Now I'm starting wellbutrin which is really a problem with sleep. I believe cymbalta is similar to effexor but "cleaner" with less side effects. But, I don't have the knowledge a lot of others on this site have. Fondly Phillipa

Well, I have the double blessing of being treatment resistant and having a real sensetivity to meds. But...

Cymbalta take the edge off the depression. So far it's the only thing that has touched it. Side effect-wise; low libido. That's it. Effexor, a similar drug was a nightmare for me.

I found it to be the exact opposite. Effexor was so easy to tolerate and Cymbalta was so difficult. Cymbalta was the one that didn't feel clean at all and created a lot of side effects.
