can medications that you take for a long period of time cause permanent irriversible damage to any part of us? EG. brain, memory, muscles....
or is every thing irriversible?

Yes.. an example would be dyskanesha (sp) which is a movement disorder induced by SSRI's and AP's... although rare it's still a concern.. I think there's a lot we don't know about these medications... but I think the general population has little problem tolerating these medications .. it's just those in the select minority like me who have long term problems as a result of consuming these drugs..

> Thanks for the infoI don't have Dyskinesia... but I have memory problems.. concentration problems and various other cognitive problems ever since I started taking paxil... they continued months after I disconintued it.. Many people experience many long term problems as a result of withdrawal..there's tons of info on that , if you just do a search..

That sounds like what I haev. I was on all sorts of meds and I just feel so cloudy now. it is awful!
