anyone ever cut or break a XanaxXR tab in half and then just took the half? what happened? did it still work all day?

never done it, but just knowing what i know about extended release tabs, it probably won't work *as well*. generally those tablets are made to dissolve slower, the inside lasting longer than teh outside. so if you cut the pill in half, you're kind of breaking up that perfect little ecosystem of a pill. you might get more of a dose than less of one, since the "xr" part is being dissolved too quick compared to what its supposed to.
okay. maybe not perfect. or an ecosystem. but maybe i made my point. i probably didn't. heh. sorry.
