Respectfully, I understand you stance on benzo's and while I do not agree, you are certainly entitled to your opinion and it's the most common held idea.

I also have researched and found information that those with anxiety disorders are not likely to abuse. There are pitfalls, but not all of us fall into them.

I have found that for me and a number of others, benzo's are used approiately and while dependence may be an issue, addiction is not. The definition of addition having four characteristics or behaviors.

I use a benzo only and have had great success on subtherapeudic dosing. I have for a number of years.

Your opinion is the one most commonly held and there are good reasons for that. But, this finding is not true for everyone.

I have no desire to enter the Benzos wars. I'm battle worn. I believe the horror stories. I only wish to have MY story believed.

I am also not getting into a Benzo war. I don't know what you want me to say without getting into a debate. I am glad you have success and wish you the best. I do believe your story about you having success but I have different views as it pertains to psychotropic drugs especially benzos and AP's. I am not here to preach to anyone or critize anyone who does use drug therapy. I am speaking from my experience only.

Thank you. I appreciate your response and the statement that you believed my story. I have no desire to debate. We have differing views and that's fine. I just wanted to be heard, too.

I also believe your story and am sorry for the difficulties you have had. I wish you the best.

That is very kind of you to say. I am glad we can disagree but be respectful of each other. I have been to some other forums where it is very one sided which to me is not right. There is a story to every side.
