How is Ativan for social phobia?
Also, in general, how does it compare to klonopin?

it could, ativan has anti-manic properties, it can calm psychosis, but it dont think its a thought about that much for this problem.
Are you considering it?

sorry, im back.
Klonopin is longer acting, it has lighter sedation than Ativan, but i've never took klonopin so.....
Ativan lasts for about 6 hours if that sounds convienient to you.
Ask your doctor, that you may want to start on a low dose, .5mg and take it from there.
