Linkage, can you describe your anti-poop-out strategy and how well it works for you?

Well, my anti-poop out stradegy does work when I do it. The problem is that here in school I have a hard time carying it out.

For starters, you need to take your medication more towards the evening if possible.

You pick one night, (works best Friday night).

1. Don't take your medication Friday night, but
instead stay up the entire night. That AD
effect will be very potent, and will
replace the missed AD dose easily.
(for me the sleep dep, is much more robust
than celexa. I actually feel like a human
being. Sleep dep is also very effective in
parkinsons depression eluding to a
dopaminergic effect)

2. Skip your Saturday dose as well cause the
sleep deprivation effect will last all day
untill you sleep. Saturday night stay up till
at least 10. (if you sleep too early you might
not sleep through the night, but generally
you are very tired and do sleep)

3. You will wake up Sunday morning most likely
depressed and anxious (not necessarily
however). On Sunday you've got to do some
running. Run for at least 2 hours (I need that
much) to provide enough AD effect
to hold untill that evening to resume
my AD.

In this way you are only taking an AD 5 days a week, if done properly you don't relapse, and when you take the meds on sunday night they really work well again.

There are probably many factors which need to be considered (ie not good for psychotic depression) but it did work for me.

I found that saturday was a little hazy, but sunday I was very creative.

I also found that by skipping the AD, it was not as hard to stay up all night (paradoxical but)
probably cause the extra jitteryness kept me from getting drowsy.
