I'm wondering about the best time to take Seroquel. I'm supposed to take 50mg, but it knocks me out too much for me to work, so I take 25mg hs. Still, though, I have difficulty getting out of bed to go to work and feel sleepy all day. Sometimes I even have to take a nap--unheard of for me. It does help me sleep, which is what I need to do. Any suggestions? I take it around 10pm.

When I was taking Seroquel it was prescribed 1-2tabs at bedtime (25-50mg) and I also found 50mg way too much. Even 25mg was a little hefty. You might be really med-sensitive too. I found that half a tab (12.5mg) worked just as good for sleep and I had less 'hangover' the next day. Another tip: Don't take the med just before bed.. take it about 2 hrs before you plan to go to bed-IOW when it has fully "kicked in"-you'll be less drowsy the next day.

I take 150 mg at like 8:30 PM. It took me forever to get used to it, but now I wake up just fine. Sometimes I take it later when I know that I can sleep in the next day.

Sounds like they should make a 10mg Seroquel tablet!
