i've posted this before a while back, but for those that didn't see it and are looking for a good intro into the neurocircuitry of mood disorders, this presentation is fairly educational...

I found this very useful.
I have been trying to understand how conditions like depression and panic can exist side by side, especially when you read postings that say things like depression is due to serotonin depletion and social anxiety to an excess of serotonin.
This article helped to hint at the complexeties.
What textbooks provide the best background to the neuroanatomy/physiol/biochem of depression and anxiety?
