How are you dealing with no sex drive? I haven't dated in years, recently met someone who is very interested in me. I was honest about being BP and not ready or not sure if or how much I could give to seeing someone. The biggest part of this comment was that I have no sex drive (I didnt tell him that). He is totally understanding, and so far he is not scared away. He did tell me that his mom is a paranoid schizophrenic. We have gone out a few times and I really "tried" in a jr high way, but I wasn't feeling anything. I want to give this a try, he really likes me, but how can I start a relationship like this??????
Any suggestions?

I have the same situation. Prozac and wellbutrin were working GREAT, but I met a guy and went off for the sake of sex. I am going to try buspar instead, because that can actually increase the sex drive. It seems a mean joke that medication that makes you feel so good takes away one of life's greatest pleasures. I think I might just have to have sex a lot! But, maybe off my Prozac I will be too preoccupied with my bad body image to have sex!
Whatever you do, don't go off your meds without your doctor's help. He might have some creative solutions.

I would never stop my meds for sex, no way no how...
Remember the Sex in the City ep where Charlotte thinks she is dating the nicest guy who is taking things slow when in fact he was on Prozac, happy and didn't care that he wasn't having sex or had no drive.
