Hey all, since I am already convinced, of all the things I have lost in life... It is my *mind* that I miss the most!Here is the $2.00, Medicaid co-pay question.... What is the half life of a placebo?

> SnapperWell, I'm not sure I know the answer to your question, but I recall an event that might give you part of the answer. I read about a man who overdosed on placebo. He only thought he was dead. The paramedics only acted like they rushed him to the hospital, and he made a full recovery.
I know it is only anecdote, but it might be useful, anyway.

Would that be the XR version?I think it depends on how often you can afford to renew the prescription.

Thanks to all for their responces! I did mean my statement and query to be both thought provoking and hopefully humorous in its content. (hope it was *not* taken the wrong way!)Also there is a significant proportion of witty, clever and just down right intelligent array of posters on this board! Just because mood disorders can make one feel *retarded*, def. does not imply or make one so. I am sorry! If my post came across in a manner that was anything other than goofy, pointless and certainly and hopefully a little bit humorous-even if it did sound a little benign!If anything, *we* have not lost our minds. Our minds are fine and it is our brains that we are all so desperately seeking to fix, or at least on a quest to help them function better than they are! I sincerely wish all of you luck,& success in trying to find that magical combo of meds or otherwise in hopes of finding that elusive but certainly attainable goal of a better, happier state of mind, in which many if not most human beings seem to take for granted-a proper functioning brain! Peace and Best to all!!
