Provigil and benzos- chemist? anyone?

Does anyone take provigil with benzos??

I am wondering how much they would compromise the effect of Provigil.

I take provigil with klonopin and it still works just as well as without the klonopin. On paper, it seems that a benzo would counteract provigil, so it could be just me, but Ive noticed others on both who seem happy with the combo too.

Provigil was fine with Klonopin for me, and the Klonopin didn't seem to diminish Provigil's alerting effects. I don't notice anything with Klonopin except a general reduction in anxiety, and have taken it with a variety of other meds quite successfully.

hello there, chemist here...i do not take provigil with benzos - rather dexedrine + xanax, which is close enough - and, as the other posters report, do not notice any problems with the efficacy of either. although one could argue (quite rightly) that dexedrine (provigil) would precipitate panic attacks and/or heighten anxiety - thus dulling the effect of the anxiolytic - this is a case-by-case situation. all the best, chemist
