HI to every.
I'm a melanchonic unipolar depressed with anergie, aphatie and low motivation. Costantly low mood.
Tryed all SSRI and any Tca without any effect if not worsening of my condition: lay down all day.I think it could be a good choice try Bupropion (in my country called Zyban, but better known as brand Wellbutrin).
Could you express an opinion, experience, effect and side effects while you was on this drug?
I will greatly appriciate all input even good or bad experience.

However everyone is different, there is no way to know. I love that wellbutrin does not have the sexual side effects of SSRIs. In fact, some believe it has the opposite effect (increased libido etc..) This was true for me.

Me too. I'm on 300mg along with effexor xr 150mg and once the agitation subsided, it kicked in nicely.

I, too, am on 150mg of effexor and am considering adding wellbutrin to offset sexual and weight side effects. Did Wellbutrin help you with that? Thanks for your thoughts-

Hey, meds4life, I replied to your post lower down, but yes, the wellbutrin woke up my libido. At first I thought that the depression was making me numb, then I realized that emotionally I was responsive, but my body was deadened. What a pleasant side effect!
