Look at manics like chris farley. he was overweight and you can imagine he had plenty of dopamine overload with or without illicit drugs. However, there could be a correlation if you assume high dopamine means high metabolism and lots of energy. I think high dopamine can mean high vigilance which means appetite suppression.Some skinny people may have thyroid problems.

Chicken or the egg question? Does dopamine make people skinny or does being skinny result in higher dopamine levels? (like lower cholest levels).

Well heres something you might know and maybe this is what led you to ask the question, but they've found some sort of dopamine deficiency in obese people. What this means in the grand scheme I dont know.
