Hi,
I've got wellbutrin-induced insomnia.. I'm wondering whether any has used valerin to help their insomnia?

Yes, it's too strong for me. It left me sedated the wrong next day!

Valerian root is good for short-term use only, maybe a week or so.
Finding the "right" herb might need the help of a qualified herbalist. Each person's body chemistry is different.

Do you mean Valerian?
Smells like dirty socks?Wasn't strong enough to make a difference in getting me to sleep, but once i finally did manage sleep, it kept me feeling 'drugged' all the _next_ day when i wanted to feel awake.
Yes, i was taking Wellbutrin.
This worked for me: Licorice Root Tea by Alvita/Twinlabs. Was amazing, and a blessing. It does something useful for the hp axis. Alert and balanced when i woke up in the morning, too. i learned about it here. There are more potent formulas in capsules in Traditional Chinese Medicine, but require a ND's RX.Hope it helps,
