VERY successful! just don't think about quitting. It happens on its own, you lose total interest in smoking and gradually cut down. Well this is the experience i have had and some people i know.
But I think you need to stay on the wellbutrin for a while, I am not sure what happens if you go off it. And the last couple of cigarettes are the hardest to kick, when you have gotten down to just a couple a day, but it does seems to happen.

I don't know about using it to quit smoking but when I used it as an antidepressant it made it possible for me to quit smoking. Not easy and it also took me close to a year but it was possible where it had not been before. And I don't think this was just it's antidepressant action. I've taken other AD's that were as effective as Wellbutrin but that didn't seem to reduce my need for cigarettes.
