New tianeptine user, need advice

I am taking tianeptine for 5th day now
and it seems to me that my depression got worse.
I read in one post that this should be like normal reaction to tianeptine; making your depression and anxiety worse initially but after a while (a week or so) quite the oposite: significant reduction of depression and anxiety.
Does anyone have any information related to that
or any of he/she's own experience.
Any information would be very welcome, as I don't know what to think about the worsening of my depression.
Also, I read somewhere, that taking tianeptine interacts with benzodiazepines which reduce its efficiency drastically. I'm currentlly taking Xanax, can this be bad?
