Hey, I was on Zoloft 2 years ago, and it did wonders for my anxiety. After I hit the 100 mg dose, you really start to see a differance. I was a completely differant person , in regards to being around other people and being in public. I was open and not paranoid at all. Just be careful with the xanax. When you stop, taper off or you will have severe detox and possibly a siezure. Good Luck and Best Wishes. David

Hi..I was on Zoloft for nearly 10 yrs and It worked wonders...All depression and anxiety/panic attacks were gone during those years...It eventually pooped out so my doc put me on Lexapro...When I first started Zoloft ,It gave me REALLY bad headaches, and dry mouth but it all went away after a while..I hope it works as well for you as It did for me...Good Luck and take care :)

thanks for the encouragement. hopefully it starts working by the time school starts. what dose were you on? i go up to 100mg tomorrow. i havent had any side effects, which is great. i have heard so many horror stories. do you remember how long it took to achieve full benefits. i have been on it for a month and am starting to get a little relief (along with xanax). i have taken that for two years though. thanks and have a great day.

Hi..I was on a very low dose of zoloft 50 mgs,but Like I said it woked wonders for me at that dose so i stuck with it..It took about 2 1/2 months before I really noticed that I was feeling much better...If you are already feeling good effects from it,Thats a really good sign. You may not have to wait as long as I did for the Zoloft to work...As far as the horror stories, you will find those with every med..what works for some may not work for others...I found that It helps to just seek out and read all the positive posts and away from the negative ones..It gives lots of hope and encouragement Good luck and take care :)
