I've been on Lexapro 10mg for about a year and it hasn't worked worth a damn. I just started 20mg about 2 weeks ago and don't notice much.
I also just started Nortryptiline 25mg then progress to 75mg.
Does this sound like too much?
Anxiety and obsessive thinking are horrible.
Don't have insurance to see a pdoc until new year. Any thoughts

Nortriptyline 25 mg is a standard 'starting' dose, and 75 mg is a standard 'target' dose (that's what I take). I titrated up very slowly, as nortriptyline tends to have a lot of side effects that will eventually go away but can be bothersome if you go up too quickly. Combining these dosages with a standard dose of Lexapro is a wise augmentation strategy, and not too much medication, in my opinion.
