When I first took celexa, I noticed it had a very breightening effect on my mood. Colors seemed brighter and emotion seemed different.
Are there any people out there for whom Wellbutrin lifted them out of a depression
with symptoms like the following:Irritability,
dark mood,
sadness,
anxiety
etc.

When I first started taking WB, I had to cut out all caffeine, and I had to put up with some added irritability for a couple of weeks. Then I got an enormous burst of energy that I hadn't felt in ages. It was great. I got all kinds of things done and felt good about it. Then that phase wore off...another side-effect (that one I actually liked). It was only then that the WB really started working. However, I have found that WB doesn't do it for me on its own. I have to supplement with another AD. Zoloft has worked best for this, so far.
Good luck.

I didn't work by itself for me. I had to pair it with another, and found myself anxious, not happy. Don't recommend it.
