Hi everyone, I love this board, and thank you in advance. can you post your dose of effexor XR or email it to me? I am currently on 225 of it a week and it is helping but not enough it feels. I have mood swings sometimes and am still getting the depression on and off. What is your dose, I am going to call my doctor as well, but wondered what dose other people were on.

I take 450 mg a day which is a pretty high dose.

like a high dose to me, how high can someone go on it? I am on 225 now and it is better but still feels like it isn't quite working.

My Doc told me 600 mg. You need to give it a bit to work and tell your doc if it isn't working he can always up the dosage for you.
