I just want to know why does remeron make you feel so hungry all the time? it's like major munchines, and even taking it real late at night doesn't help because in the morning I get up and cook up heaps of fatty foods still...it's such a bastard too because it was really helping me sleep and my depression and stuff but now I'm majorlly fat from it, I've put on like 15kg in just a few months and yeah, it just pisses me off, if it didn't have this hunger side effect it would be really good. Another side effect I notice is that I sometimes just snap at people for no reason, anyone else experinced this?
I want to go onto the lexapro but I don't think it's here in Australia yet.

What dose of remeron are u on? They say that some of the side effects wear off at higher doeses. To be honest, when I was on it, I was really a mess in my head and didn'd care if I gained a ton (which I did). It never worked for me, and I don't remember if raising the dose changed anything in that arena. I was still plagued by anxiety and all kinds of fun stuff.
I don't know how bad your depression was, but if the stuff works, well, even though I am now a super fat beast, I would be happy to really be happy....
