ULTRAM WORKS FOR ANXIETY OCD!!

Posted by matthhhh on September 9, 2003, at 16:30:46

This is my first day on ultram, took 1 tab 50 mg. It completetely alleviated my anxiety and ocd.
My only concern with this drug is long term use. Ive heard that long term use of opiods has resulted in overall decreased activity in the brain. What do u think?

Hi McPac, I suffer from most of the conditions that Ace does, and i haven't seen him on here for a while. My pdoc told me there would never be a cure for anxiety in my lifetime - I want to think he meant there would never be a panacea that would cure everyone, obviously the combinations that work are as different from the people who suffer from these conditions.. I was just wondering if Ace had a breakthrough or something, any info would be much appreciated.

Hi McPac,

>>>>>>>>> Hi Temo!

I suffer from most of the conditions that Ace does, and i haven't seen him on here for a while.

>>>>>>>>> Yeah, he was 'blocked' for quite a while.......I haven't e-mailed him as I don't have his e-mail address (although some here know it)

>>>>>>>>> Right, there may not be a CURE for everyone's various types of anxiety, though hopefully better treatments will arise

I was just wondering if Ace had a breakthrough or something, any info would be much appreciated.

>>>>>>>>>>> I heard from someone on here that he was doing much better......I hope so.....Ace RULES!!!!!! Take care Temo!

Hi McPac, Thanks for getting back to me, so you heard he was doing much better - I'm going to find a doctor that holds out hope for me, mine basically told me that the dopey state I'm in is as good as it'll get and that I've tried a lot of drugs already. I hate this anxiety I was so depressed i decided to give up this place in the city and move out to the countryside with my parents. I noticed how that one time when Andrew was really scared because he had a little relapse, you calmed him down and thoroughly explained how what he was dealing with would pass if he just stuck it out - you should be a psychologist/ I was curious about Ultram I'm in canada but I have an American doctor I could get it through. Anyway take care, I hope you're feeling well, and that we hear how Ace is doing

Ben

>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi Ben.....yeah, Ace did post his e-mail here but I don't remember it, though somebody here does (someone reposted it)...I heard he was doing better after restarting the Nardil (I hope he's still doing well....I'd like to write him.

>>>>>>>>>>> Temo, is anxiety your main problem? What are you taking for your anxiety? (Ame is a GREAT person to ask about many things...he knows a LOT about anti-anxiety treatments also...you may try e-mailing him (he's a VERY nice guy)

I noticed how that one time when Andrew was really scared because he had a little relapse, you calmed him down and thoroughly explained how what he was dealing with would pass if he just stuck it out

>>>>>>>>>>> Like Ace, I also have OCD...when I read Ace's posts, particularly the ones where he is not feeling well in which ocd is at fault, I usually know EXACTLY what he's thinking and how he's feeling....I can spot little, subtle clues that let me know exactly how he's feeling and why he's feeling that way.

>>>>>>>> Take care my friend.......Yeah, I've got to write that dude...got to find his e-mail......hey, as far as you saying about moving out of the city, I myself would like to do that....less stress, get away from a lot of the crappola......but there's got to be something to dampen your anxiety.....I don't know anything about your diagnosis though.....I would ask Ame though....he's very helpful and very kind....take care my friend! (hey, just put Ame's name in the Subject box here in this thread and he'll see it and join right in.....take care Temo...hang in there buddy!!!
