My father committed suicide three years ago. this led to a lot of emotion problems for me and to a severe panic episode. my doctor prescribed my paxil (which I had once been on and discontinued) along with xanax. Recently, about 7 weeks ago, (due to lack of insurance and available samples) I was switched to effexor XR 75 mg. I also take about 2 0.5 pills of xanax a day.
I started having severe panic episodes along with vertigo and "spongy legs". I am going to the doctor armed with all the imformation i have learned on this site...btw, thanks:) I know her heart is in the right place, but I am dismayed that she chose to put me on two such highly addictive drugs.
I was wondering if anyone else had these problems while actually ON these pills. Also, is it true about caffiene being three times more potent. I think my red bull energy drinks and two or three cups of coffee might explain some of my symptoms if this is the case w/ the magnification of the effect of caffiene.
