Hi dudes/dudettes,
They say you shouldn't smoke while on Zyprexa, well I'm a naughty young man and smoke around 11 ciggies per day.
I've heard of one guy who smoked 2 packs a day- he didn't seem to notice much on his 5mg dose of Zyprexa.
So any of you brothers or sisters smokers?
How much a day?
Notice any effect on the Zyprexa ? (what dose?)

> Ace, Posting from Nardil Headquatres, 90mg.I've no personal experience with Zyprexa myself, but from reading the literature, it seems you might have to take an abnormally high dose to get an adequate effect from Zyprexa.

have I got news for you...
I am on 30mg of Zyprexa at the mo (15 am +15 pm)
and I regrettably smoke 20 ciggies a day.I have noticed no problems... what should I be looking for?! (apart from a bad cough, and haemoptesis?!!!)

I've never heard this.. my pdoc has never mentioned it and he knows I smoke 20 cigies a day...
but I'm on 5mg zyprexa, and that works perfectly for me

Well I'm a 10 mg Zyprexa and was a 15 a day smoker for quite some time,

They say that smoking makes you metabolize the drug quicker- but that is a mega dose your on, so I wouldn't worry too much. Even if your own a low dose, unless you smoke two packs a day, I don't think it's a prob. But then again I heard someone smoking this much and NOT having a prob!
When are you coming back to Australia?
