NEW EXPERIMENTAL COCKTAIL TREATMENT OF OCD

Posted by freedom2001 on June 3, 2003, at 20:38:42

Guess what! My friends, after many weeks of wicked experiments, my OCD is now under 85%-98% control, which is a tremendous improvement over the previous 70%.

I wish to share my cocktail treatment with you.
I'm fine tuning my cocktail treatment as I have stomach upset after mixing fish oil with calcium and Vit C.

Updated 4 June 2003

Morning
Cereals /w sweetener milk (contains calcium, phosphorous)
60 mg Prozac
1 mg clonazepam

800 mg calcium carbonate
300 magnesium oxide
10 mg zinc
1000 mg Vitamin C with bioflavonoids Time Release

Afternoon
Lunch
2 large bananas (equivalent to 800 mg potassium)

Evening
20 mg prozac
1 mg clonazepam
800 mg calcium carbonate
300 mg magnesium oxide
10 mg zinc
1000 mg Vitamin C with bioflavonoids Time Release

Night
2-fish oils -2000 mg high concentration fish oil (1000 mg EPA + 600 mg DHA)
either 2 xanax (0.5 mg) or 1 trazodone (50 mg) for sleep

Exercise
I swim once per week (2 hours) to release my stress, get my sun tan and improve my overall mental and physical well being. It feels great to go swimming!

This combination, using drug, natural elements and exercise, though potent, still wouldn't cure the OCD as the root cause has not been established. The root cause is most probably a group of defective genes as my mother has gotten OCD as well. I still need CBT too.

I followed this regimen with lots of PRAYERS. PRAYERS to GOD bring 100% improvement whenever I get 'OCD trigger attacks'.

Comments, opinions, feedback are all welcome.

Thanks and may God continue to bless and heal you in His own special manner,
Freedom2001.

This is a true story. I did not make this up.
PS On a Sunday, I went to a Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. An old man exclaimed during the service, "There's a man here who cannot be healed by any doctor. And today the Lord shall heal him." He also spoke about a "woman who cry day and night".

That very next morning, my OCD condition was 100% healed.

Talking about the power of Jesus...........Praise Him!

I am a Christian too, so I am not bashing your religion in any way. But man, 98% healed ?? You're really specific about your condition.

Then you come on this board every now and again with a new *ultimate* supplement regime for OCD.

It seems to me, that you are getting a little *obsessive*, about finding a cure for OCD.

I mean absolutely no offence, and God bless your heart, I just say it how it seems to me.

1st pls dun call me nuts.

The percentage is a general feeling about my own condition.

That's true. I posted data on what helps me in the hope that it will help others too. Nothing wrong with that. "Ultimate" is the word you used. I never used the word "ultimate". I used the word "cocktail treatment". Pls do not put words into my mouth.

Who does not want a cure for OCD? I suppose you don't have OCD. That's why you don't understand OCD patients.

I am severe OCD too. Every day when I take my meds I record the time - to the minute. Also, I have a very neat system- s/effects and therapeutic responses I wright on seperate pages - every day.

There is nothing wrong with that. God Bless him for trying to help others.

I think he is too, but, hey, is that really such a bad obsession? Whatever I am interested in life I get obsessed about - for instance I got obsessed about psychobabble anecdotes- I have over 4 files full of them! Just as long as the obsession is not hurting him or anyone else that's fine.

Freedom,

You have posted several times reporting a new
treatment plan has improved your condition drastically.
After several posts some might think you are
600% better ! I really admire your drive to
find what works for you. However, after a few
posts I do wonder, "What about the last cocktail, & why the need to change if the last one showed so much improvement ? " We all know about things that work great at first and then not so well; it would be nice to hear why you switched.

Please keep up your reports and quest to be well !

Actually, it's not a new treatment plan every time I posted. It's a 'refined' treatment plan every time I posted. The elements and drugs involved are more or less the same, just the timing, dosage differs.

It could be due to a variety of factors such as the environment, any missed dosages, placebo effect, stressful or traumatic events, many variables involved. OCD condition does not stay constant all the time. It fluctuates from time to time.

What I'm trying to point out is that I've been spending many weeks struggling to find the right dosage, right timing to manage this yet incurable disease. (though a small percentage may have complete remission of symptoms for years).

I would welcome anyone who can contribute more to my refined cocktail treatment of OCD.
Eg. Did I miss out any crucial elements?
Does selenium play a role in OCD?
Do the amino acids play a role in OCD?

I would appreciate all kinds of feedback and comments as this is the place to help each other.

Best regards,
Freedom2001.
