I'm on 70mg Parnate after gradually working up this high over four weeks. I don't feel better, but no worse either. I had one morning when I had a nice calm come over me, but that only lasted a couple hours and I haven't felt anything since. I plan on going high with the Parnate and staying on it for a while. Any body out there find they need a really high dose to get a therapeutic effect? How high have you heard of people going? Right now my only side effects are insomnia and constipation, the latter being trivial, the former being a bitch I can handle.

Hey dude!,
Heard of people going up to 120mg Parnate (max dose 60mg).
I went up to 120mg Nardil (max= 90mg)
I read thereaputic benifts of Parnate at such are high dose are present.

I only take 40mg, but I noticed a big difference between 30mg and 40mg...so you may experience something similar increasing your dose by 10mg...It really depends on YOUR chemistry.
I would suggest giving it a few more weeks before increasing.
The time of day and how you divide the dose can contribute to efficacy, and definitely effect the side-effect profile... I take 30mg in the the morning, and 10mg BEFORE noon...I find that taking the last dose of Parnate BEFORE noon helps tremendously with insomnia (which has thus far been the only annoying side-effect)
