Ace, can you get mirapex dow there?

Mirapex was one of the few meds that slightly resembled Nardil in effect. Taken with Anafranil might make it even more so. Just a thought to those out there coming off of a MAOI.

Thanks for the suggestion bro. What's mirapex other name. Are you saying it can be taking with Anafranil or MAOI?

Good for OCD?

A lot of things are hard to get in Australia, like Klonopin (black market here and anticonvulsants) It just makes my ass red with anger!

Thanks bro again,

Ace.

PS tell me more about this med if you can.

Thanks champ.

Ace.

I have been trying to find a substitute for Nardil since I had to stop taking it in preparation for sugery a few years ago. Mirapex (Pramepixole) has been used for years for treating parkinsons. It's a dopamine agonist. Just recently it has been tested for AD properties and passed. Especially in areas of anhedonia. I found that it made me more outgoing, witty, less inhibitted. It should be ok with a TCA's and SSRI's Maybe some other babblers can help me in this area? There seemed to be some synergy when I took it with SSRI's If you go on Anafranil the stimulating properties of Mirapex might help cancel out some of the sedation of Anafranil and make you more outgoing.

One more thing that helped with my SP was Cyclert(Pemoline). It's used for ADD. I took Cyclert with luvox also. It's a milder stimulant than Ritalin. It Definately helped me meet chicks. Dexidrine and Ritalin will help too. Especially combined with an AD like Anafranil. You'll have to double check for med. interactions. I hope you can get access to some of these meds. Take care. Larry

Hi All,

I was prescribed Mirapex by my neurologist for restless legs syndrome and tremors caused by my meds (Seroquel, Depakote, Lamictal, and Prozac). It worked great on the tremors and pretty good for the restless legs, but after three days of taking it, I had HORRIBLE hallucinations. I continued taking the drug for another week as my neourologist and psychiatrist directed me to do (I was laid off so I don't have to worry about coming in to work and tripping). Needless to say, the problem got worse and worse, so I discontinued the Mirapex. I still had hallucinations for four days!! This was a very bad drug for me....Awful hallucinations that were not at all pleasant like LSD or mushrooms. So, be very, very careful with this stuff!
