How long does it take to kick in after increase ?

Posted by Frog on April 20, 2003, at 3:09:38

Hello

I would like to know if after a dosage increase , do you still need to wait 2-3 weeks before feeling the positive effect or is it usually quicker (since the drug has already been in the body)

I guess it depends on which drug you are taking - but from my own personal experience with AD's - it usually takes 2-3 weeks for the higher dose to kick in.

Hi Frog!,

I'd say you definately have to wait longer. Each dose takes time to kick in, and every higher dose. Maybe not as long, but definately sometime. The brain has to adapt to the increase in psychoactive substance.
