After 2 months on mirtaapine I've decided to come off it, as I have gained 10lbs in weight and that really is bad for me as I am very overweight and had been doing so well in losing it (I'd lost 30lb in 4 months before going on it). I just saw my GP and he said he woudl worry for me if I gained anymore as he knows how it upsets me. I see my psych in 3 1/2 weeks, and want to be off it by the time I see him really.
So, does anyone know of any withdrawal effects from this??

I was on mirtazapine for 6 weeks (45 mg) and stopped it cold turkey with no problems at all...In fact I just felt great to be off the stuff! I gained alot of weight on it too. :(
