my first day on topomax, read your sites and am very nervous. Have seizures and migraines already am on dilantin and paxil along with pain medicine when needed. Is this going to affect my life? I have 3 children the youngest 9 months will I be able to take care of her. Please answer soon.

I have 3 children and work full time; I am also on 225 of Topamax. The biggest side effect I have noticed has been tiredness, but that seems less so if it is increased slowly. Some minor problems with word finding and tingling in my hands and feet. Good luck.

Which condition prompted the addition of Topamax-treatment resistant seizures or migraines?
