Has anyone tried this as a mood stablizer?
I found a reference to it being used sometimes to stablize swings.
I used as part of a regimen for some heart problems I have.....but am curious if anyone took it specifically for BP stuff...?

Is this a calcium channel blocker? a beta-blocker? I am interested also in alternative treatments re mood (for me also anxiety big time).Ive noticed that for a friend whose taking Inderal, that her reactivity has mellowed...

I noticed that while I took it (a beta blocker), I wasn't anxious at all.
I was also using it for ventricular tachycardia.
In retrospect, while using it, I did not have many cycles at all.
Might be worth a shot.

I had this idea to ask about this to my dr. but your experience has convinced me too that this is really worth a try.

Yes, you should and then let me know how it turns out. I am curious as to how it affects those without this nasty heart problem that I have with this wretched BP2 crap.
