Geodon is one of the drugs I had a good experience with. Essentially no side-effects, except for lower blood pressure and slower heart rate (which was good for me since my blood pressure and heart rate are on the high side). So needless to say, there was no major sedation for me. Actually, it may have made it *slightly* more difficult to fall asleep but I can't say for sure. However, I've heard others here say it knocked them out. For me, it was good for depression and anxiety. Paxil CR is definitely better for me, but Geodon seemed to exert an effect very quickly... within a week or so. Nardil + Geodon sent me into what was probably hypomania. High doses of Geodon are necessary for most people to treat depression, but I don't know if that will be true of Abilify or not. I'm very interested to start hearing about everyone's response to this new drug. I wish Gepirone were available, too. Let us know how it works for you.

Good Luck,
Jon
