I FEEL ALIVE TONIGHT!

Posted by freedom2001 on November 5, 2002, at 6:54:06

Dear all,

I wish to share with you what the almighty had done to me today.

Morning I woke up, still with symptoms of OCD. Took 40mg prozac and 1 deanxit neuroleptic.

After noon, took another 40mg prozac and 1 xanax.

Lunch I had fish porridge and 3 bananas (to boost my serotonin and inositol).

I also took 1000 mg omega-3 fish oil in the morning and 2000 mg omega-3 fish oil in the afternoon.

Before evening came, I prayed hard to God that when I met my galfren in the evening, I would not have obsessions and compulsions.

I then entered the internet, and printed out the 4 step method - OCD. (you can go to www.google.com , type 4 step method OCD )This proved very helpful to me when evening came.

I told myself that my obsession (about is it alright to hold my girlfriend's left hand with watch on it) is A FALSE MESSAGE that is AN OBSESSION BASED ON A MEDICAL DISORDER. DON'T ATTEND TO THE FALSE MESSAGE NO MATTER HOW POWERFUL AND STRONG IT IS. IT IS A DELUSION AND COMES FROM THE MATRIX. IT IS PART OF MY ABNORMAL THINKING THAT NORMAL PEOPLE WON'T THINK.

Recognising my abnormal thought as a FALSE MESSAGE transmitting from a FAULTY BRAIN helps me to put it aside more easily.

Earlier on in the morning I had prayed sincerely, and also once in the afternoon. These are not babbling prayers. They are intense, sincere prayers.

I DISCOVERED that if I don't pray, bad events and things from the devil (most probably) will befall on me. It's true. If I pray, I'll be kept safe from Satan's reach, so to speak.

God is almighty, I believe in divine healing and miracles, do you?

Praise God, Praise Jesus! Thank you my Lord.

And thank you my dear, for being so loving and understanding.

From Alive.

The point I'm making is the VERY FACT that bad things befall on me IF I DON'T PRAY to God.

God does exists. Divine healing does occur. Just like God healed me when I was 14 years old with OCD. No CBT. No drug therapy. No natural therapy. No relaxation therapy. No diet therapy. 2 months of intense suffering came to an end when I started to pray intensely.

Divine powers from God cannot be seen. It has to be felt.

Regards.

So does OCD. This sounds like OCD. (if I do not pray bad things will happen)

What does your dr say? I know I've mentioned that I'm not a religious person, I am however a spiritual person, and I'm very worried about a scenario that required a way to keep yourself from harm. God wouldn't want that, would he? I'm concerned that you've experienced some reinforcement where you've prayed and had something positive come of it, and so developed a compulsion around the ordinary days being a result of not praying.

This is not to say that God doesn't exist, not at all. It's a slippery slope though...

Tell me what you think.

Hi,

as long as I don't feel distressed for praying /or forgetting to pray, I don't treat it as serious OCD. Even if it is OCD, it's only a very mild one.
