My boyfriend has been taking Effexor for the past few months and has noticed a drop in his sex drive and being able to orgasm. 5 days ago he stopped taking Effexor and started taking Wellbutrin but hasn't noticed a change yet. Anyone know how long it takes for the Effexor to get out of your system and when his sex drive may return?

Be patient, it will likely return before long. If not, make sure he keeps working with his pdoc to resolve this problem. There are solutions to this problem.
