JYL,I don't take Effexor and this hasn't happened to me with any of the drugs I do, but I have noticed that when I start a new drug I'm often fidgety including scratching mostly non existant itches. That could could be what's happening to you but my guess is that you are experiencing something different. Is it still bothering you now that you have been on the Effexor a few days longer? There are a lot of other Effexor users on this board who may be able to add something more helpful.
