Air Conditioning Relief

This may sound wierd or stupid, but I have noticed for a long time that whenever I enter an overly air conditioned room, I immediately notice a big improvement in my anxiety/depression. It doesn't last long, but I'm pretty sure it's a physical (not psychological) thing.

I also think this reaction is different from taking a freezing-cold shower because that seems to work, at least in part, by taking your mind off the depression since it is so shocking/uncomfortable. However, I feel quite comfortable in a cold room.

Any thoughts? (Please don't laugh.)

Heat causes depression. I know I've read that somewhere. I feel lethargic and depressed when the temp hits 90F.
