Can anyone provide a site that would list psychopharm. pdocs in Ohio, Eastern Indiana, or Northern Kentucky? Really need to get my meds straightened out.
Thanks
Geezer

The Website "Depression Central," Dr. Ivan Goldberg's website, lists doctors all over the country who specialize in difficult-to-treat depression. I think there is a doctor whose last name is Calabrese in the Cleveland area, but you'll have to check the above-mentioned website for the exact name and phone number.

You can also check at your library or on the website for "The Best Doctors in America." It is divided according to medical specialty and geographic region.

Thanks Bekka,
You probably read above I am already on Depakote and Lamictal but have really had a bad week after taking Prozac for 7 days.....looks like the SSRIs just don't agree with me anymore. When I get this far out of it I get scared. My local pdoc is a nice fellow but not real up to date on meds, he lets me do what I want but usually I am not so damn smart as I thought. Continuing problems with moderate depression and sedation (probably from the Dep.).
If I decrease either Dep. or Lam. I get in trouble. I had some real good suggestions to my above post but welcome any comments you might have.
Checked Dr. Ivan's sight as you suggested and came up with Calabreze's name - he is a real proponent of Lamictal. He is also an independent researcher for the Stanley Foundation. Paul Keck (same foundation) worked with me here for awhile at the University of Cincinnati. Understand they have now lost their funding.
Thanks
Geezer
