Help! Was just perscribed clonazepram while trying to get off of celexa. Very nervous to take tranquilizer!! Any advice?

Were you taking Celexa for panic disorder? If so, clonazepam would be the best med for panic if you can't tolerate antidepressants to treat panic (with similar duration of action).

Doc said it would be best to come off Celexa to see if that was the cause, and anyhow I've been on it one year and he said he'd like to see how I do w/no meds. I've taken it once during the day since my post and I fell asleep at work and a coworker had to drive me home. Talk about uping the anxiety quotient at work. Embaressing!! Would it be bad if I just skipped taking it all together? I hate being half asleep all of the time. Even when I take it at night I wake up with that cloudy, sort of absent feeling.
