I am now starting my third week of being off Remeron after having been on it for a year. (I weaned myself very slowly). I am concerned because the physical symptoms have been increasing. I feel anxious, jittery, nausea, dizzy and spacey and unable to concentrate. Is it unusual or normal to be feeling these things after three weeks of being off it. I thought by now I would be free of symptoms rather than them increasing. How long might it take for these symptoms to resolve.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wish I could help. When I weaned off Remeron after about 2 years, I felt no side effects at all.
I hope these symptoms go away for you.

remeron for me is a live savior. I dont think i could go off this drug. I did for 3 days, and i felt the exact way your saying. Why do you want to stop it? If its the wieght gain, augment it with some dexadrine or welbutrin. Or up the dose to 45-60mg, causing less sedation, weight gain.
Remeron is a very powerful med. It has triple neurtrasmitter avalibility, which is seratonin, norpepinephrine and histamine

i didn't find it did all that much for my depression and I found it extremely sedating. The only thing that it did well was make me sleep. I guess I found the downside greater than the upside. Thanks for your input.
